First came those notorious plus signs...


And then the early ultrasound where we saw her heartbeat for the first time


Before I knew it, I was growing by the day!

Then on one of the happiest days I can remember, we found out it was a precious baby girl in there. And we caught her already sucking her thumb!

In some strange time warp that felt like forever, yet came so quickly, I was massive.


And one day after her due date, after 22 hours of labor, Charis Olivia arrived at 20.5 inches and 8lbs 5 ounces via c-section and changed my life forever.
